Do I still need to apply sunscreen under the UV shirt/overall?
No, all covered areas are protected by UPF 80. Only apply sunscreen to the exposed parts: face, hands, and feet.
Will my baby get too hot in it?
The polyamide-elastane material is highly breathable and cools through evaporation. It dries in 10-15 minutes and feels comfortable even in high heat.
Does the UV protection last after many washes?
Yes. The protection is provided by the density of the weave, not by a chemical coating. The UV STANDARD 801 certification specifically tests protection in used condition.
