Data protection at a glance

General information

Thank you for your interest in our website and shop. The notes below give a simple overview of what happens to your personal information when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that personally identifies you. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed under these general instructions.

Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?
The data processing on this website is carried out by the team at hyphen Gmbh. Our contact details can be found in the imprint of this website.

How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you tell us, such as information that you enter in a contact form,  and automatically by our IT systems when visiting the website. This is mainly technical data (eg Internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). The collection of this information is automatic as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure a flawless provision of the website. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior. This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()", which ensures anonymization of the IP address by curtailment and excludes a direct personal reference. (Read: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=en)

What rights do you have regarding your data?
At any time you have the right to obtain free information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions about data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. Furthermore, you have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and third-party tools
When you visit our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This happens above all with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can refuse this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information can be found in the privacy policy below.

Privacy statement according to the DSGVO
We as the operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. We only process the personal data of our users to the extent that this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The processing of the personal data of our users takes place regularly only with the consent of the user. An exception applies to cases in which prior consent is not possible for reasons of fact and the processing of the data is permitted by law.
If you use this website, personal data will be collected. Personal information is information that personally identifies you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens. We point out that the data transmission in the Internet (eg in the communication by E-Mail) can exhibit security gaps. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent previously given at any time. A simple e-mail message to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process either based on your consent or in the automatic fulfillment of a contract, in itself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will be undertaken but only as far as it is technically feasible.

Data security
In the website, the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method ensures a connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we'll use 128-bit v3 technology instead. If a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form this is indicated by the closed image of the key or lock symbol in the bottom status bar of your browser.
We also take the appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Encrypted payments on this website
After the conclusion of a fee-based contract, you have an obligation to send us your payment details (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization), as this data will be required for payment processing. Payment transactions via the common means of payment (Visa / MasterCard, direct debit) are made exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. An encrypted connection is indicated by the browser's address bar changing from "http: //" to "https: //" and the lock icon in your browser bar. In such encrypted communication, the payment details that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, Blocking, Deletion
You have the right to free information on your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, where apprpriate, a right to the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For further information on personal data, please contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Opposition to advertising e-mails
Contact data received as a result of our editorial requirements will not be used for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the sending of unsolicited advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

(c) The user's Internet service provider
(d) The user's IP address
(e) Date and time of access

The above-mentioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:
(a) ensuring a smooth connection of the website

(d) for further administrative purposes.
A transfer or other use of the data does not take place. However, we reserve the right to check the server logfiles retrospectively should concrete evidence point to unlawful use. The legal basis for processing personal data using technically necessary cookies is Article 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

Cookies
Our internet pages partly use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses.  Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and by your browser, and are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after your visit. They are needed, for example, to offer you the shopping cart feature across multiple pages.  Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you wish to use (eg shopping cart function) are processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO saved. Our interest in the storage of cookies is the technically error-free and optimized provision of our services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behavior) are stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details will be taken from the enquiry form including the contact details provided by you there for the purpose of processing the request and if there are follow-up questions on the information stored with us. You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete, revoke your consent to the storage or the purpose for the data storage is finalised (e.g. after completion of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.

The processing of the data entered during registration takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of data processing completed already remains unaffected by the revocation. The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and will subsequently be deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

A further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transmission. A transfer of your data to third parties without your explicit consent, such as for advertising purposes, will not occur.
